Section 1
Observational Analytics Tool

dnoise is an observational analytics tool. It is not an accounting system, tax reporting system, financial reporting system, or auditing tool.

Figures in dnoise reports may differ from accounting records due to: cash-basis vs. accrual accounting; UTC timezone vs. local timezone; Stripe API delays or data gaps; revenue recognition cut-off differences; or revenue sources outside Stripe.

️ This is a known and expected difference shared by all Stripe-based analytics tools.
Section 2
No Professional Advice

No dnoise reports, metrics, or communications constitute financial, investment, accounting, tax, or legal advice. All business decisions based on dnoise analytics are made at the User’s sole discretion and risk.

Section 3
User Expertise Warranty

By using the Service, the User confirms they possess the necessary financial knowledge and technical expertise to interpret analytical data. Lack of such expertise is not a ground for a refund, dispute, or claim against dnoise.

Section 4
Stripe API Dependency

All reports are derived from Stripe API data. The report logic is based on the current Stripe API and may be affected by future Stripe API changes. Such changes do not constitute a breach of these Terms or this Disclaimer. The Company will update report logic as promptly as practicable following material Stripe API changes.

Section 5
Specific Report Limitations
False Decline Detector

‘Probable’ = failure pattern consistent with false decline. ‘Confirmed’ = same customer paid successfully within 7 days. Neither constitutes bank-confirmed proof.

Involuntary Churn Attribution

Classification based on Stripe cancellation_reason and last_payment_error. Known limitation: intentional card expiry appears as Involuntary. Figures are an upper bound.

Revenue Forecast

Statistical model with explicit confidence intervals and stated assumptions. Not a guarantee. Past patterns do not predict future performance.

Plan Leakage

Available only for metered billing. Returns HTTP 200 with status: unavailable for fixed-price subscriptions.

Price Friction Signals

Correlational signals only. Not causal proof.

Section 6
Best-Effort Basis

All reports provided on a best-effort basis. Each report includes metadata: as_of timestamp, data_freshness_sec, sample_size, contract_version, and formula checksum. Where sample_size is below minimum threshold, the report is not returned (fail-closed).

In the event of a demonstrable calculation error caused solely by a defect in dnoise’s code, liability is limited as specified in the Limitation of Liability section of the Terms. No liability for business decisions based on any report output.
